UCCX historical Report Tool “Error 5049”

Open hrcConfig.ini file in notepad located in C:\Program Files\Cisco UCCX Historical Reports and increase AuthReqTimeOut to 30 and tracing level to 5.

So should look like this

AuthReqTimeOut=15

[LOG]
; log level from 1 to 3
; logLevel = 1 then errors only
; logLevel = 2 then warnings and errors
; logLevel = 3 then debug messages, warnings and errors
logLevel = 5

Reproduce the error.

Open log file [UXXCHOSTNAME]_CiscoAppReports0.log located in C:\Program Files\Cisco UCCX Historical Reports\logs and look for the following error: Error happened in comparing UCCX version and HRC version If this error is found then the following steps should fix the issue:

1. Uninstall HRC using the Installer downloaded from the UCCX server. (Running it as Administrator and selecting Remove)
2. Remove the following registry entries manually if they are present.
. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Cisco Systems/HRClientInfo
. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Business Objects
. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Informix
. HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Informix
. HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Business Objects
. HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/IBM/IBM Informix Client SDK
3. Remove the following folders manually from the system if they are present.
. C:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects
. C:\Program Files (x86)\InformixMSI
4. After completing all the steps reboot the system and re-install the HRC with admin rights.
